Ember Partnership
For $99 per week, you get the 1.5m oval wood-fired hot tub (2-person) with hard-lockable cover, dual drinks holder and premium access steps. RRP of this hot tub package is $13k.

No, an Ember Partnership is much more than a rent-to-own arrangement. You'll have access to great services that are exclusive only to our partners.
We do have buy-out options available if you decide you'd like to own the hot tub in the future.

Ember provides 24/7 virtual support (phone, email and live web chat). We send out replacement parts as needed at no additional cost to you.
An Ember technician will also physically attend your location once per year to maintain and service your hot tub.

Generally we ask that the first 3-months plus shipping be paid upfront.
Depot delivery to most of Australia is typically between $240 - $490 (remote locations may be more expensive). Door-step delivery may be arranged for approx. +$190. The same delivery charges apply if you stop or swap you hot tub.
INSTALLATION
In almost any location. It just needs to be accessible on foot, have a reasonably level surface that is minimum 3m x 3m, and access to clean water (E.g. A garden hose). Any ventilated area with sufficient load-bearing capacity is perfect (Lawns, patios, decks, paddocks, driveways etc).
Ember Hot Tubs can be walked through narrow gateways (in parts) and be quickly set-up in almost any location. Set-up = 2 people, 1 hour, no tools needed.
OPERATIONAL
The process of using the hot tub is as simple as: 1. Plug in your garden hose and fill with water (this will take approx. 15-30 mins depending on your water pressure). 2. Light the fire (we suggest lots of firelighters if you're not too proud!). 3. Keep it roaring for a few hours (small wood pieces & lots of flame = faster heat up). 4. Stir every half hour (try to lift the colder water from the deep). Ease off on the wood at around 35 degrees. 5. Jump in at your desired temperature (most people 36-40 degrees)Tip: To tweak the temperature; add cold water or fuel the fire. Hot Tip: Try lighting the fire the night before a tub session. This will slightly pre-warm the water in advance. Be sure to leave the cover on overnight.
Small tub = 2 hours.
Medium tub = 3-4 hours.
Large tub = 5-6 hours.
Reheating is faster. The biggest factor for fast heat up is using small and very dry(seasoned properly) pieces of good quality firewood.
Most people find it simplest to drain and refill between uses (similar to a bath tub). Adding small amounts of chlorine can help make the water last longer. Chat to us if you’d like electronic filtration.
Ember hot tubs are designed for outdoor use, year round. Cold rainy days make for some of the best times in your tub!
None, zero, zilch. Our hot tubs are completely off-grid design. Unless you’d like electronic heating/cooling or electric filtration!
In most conditions smoke is minimal. Dry firewood in small pieces is best to ensure a clean burn.
Our wood-fired heaters are highly efficient and don't require much wood. Generally, a few armfuls is enough to get your tub nice and toasty.
It’s very simple, keep the fire well fuelled during the heat up stage, then ease back on adding firewood just before you reach your desired temperature. The heater has air flow adjustments to help regulate the heat. There is also a temperature gauge to help.
Small tub = 550L (approx); Medium tub = 850L (approx); Large tub = 1750L (approx).
Safety
The hot tubs also double as cold plunges, which are perfect for those hotter days! The fireplace is fully enclosed, and most regulations make provisions for enclosed fires. Keep in mind that there are on average less than 15 Total Fire Ban days per year in Australia. Check with your local fire authority for definitive advice.
Please contact your local council for temporary or permanent fencing requirements. We recommend using your hot tub like a 'bath tub that is used for hygienic purposes and drained after use'.
